I still havn't received my XBox 360 back from Microsoft's Repair Center. I was originally pleased with their immediate response on sending me a box and everything, but now I have resorted to disapointed yet again with the Microsoft way of doing business.
Apparantly, when you call technical support, that is all that you get. They have no immediate way of contacting the repair center, and only send them an e-mail requesting information about the status of the repair. This takes at least 3 days before they even reply to the email, and then you the customer must call the support team back with your reference numbers for them to look it up yet again, and then debate if they are allowed to tell you exactly how fucked up your console actually is. I don't go off on Microsoft very much, but after finding out that my system only has a 6 MONTH Warrenty, and I barely made that 6 months before the system overheated, I am extremely disapointed with Microsoft. You would think a big company like this would be able to give their customers more respect.

I will say, despite of all of this, I do & will continue to use Microsoft products because of the content. Windows is a very easy to use and widely accepted platform for computers, and the XBox 360 is the next generation gaming console that I want, with the selection of games that are great. Not really, but sorry to those that this disapoints.

Might as well mention that I still have no XBox 360 due to G.R.A.W. freezing on multiplayer maps, and thus making the console overheat. I'm expecting it to come back in about a week, Microsoft is taking care of it.. As they should be.

Although, despite not having a 360, I did go ahead and buy Elder Scrolls: Oblivion.. but I can't play it.. Meh.

While I was looking through some of the Free Agents available in our league.. I noticed O. Cabrera was a FA.. Since I had 6 Starting Pitchers, and only one short-stop.. I decided to drop C. Young (SD - SP) and add O. Cabrera (LAA - SS). I think its a good addition, for when R. Furcal (LAD - SS) doesn't have a game scheduled, since I'm keeping him on as my primary short-stop.

X-Box 360.........

Alright.. so I'm all hyped up about Ghost Recon - Advanced Warfighter (GRAW) coming out for X-Box 360. I havn't really played my 360 alot lately, as CoD2 has a bunch of lag on the multiplayer, and there also seems to be some cheating going on. I'm not the biggest fan of single player, so I wasn't thrilled with the game selection as of yet. Go I go and pick-up my copy of GRAW, (I have had it paid off fully for a couple weeks), come home, play it for about 2 hours.

Let me say first the game is AWESOME. It has ultimate graphics, GREAT multiplayer, WITH the option of staying with the same group you just played with (NOT a feature in CoD2), and the option to go either 3rd or 1st person shooting. I personally enjoy FPS. This game is MUCH better than CoD2, and equal or better to that of F.E.A.R. for PC.

Now to the sad part.. Upon loading a map of GRAW, my 360, as it appears, freezes up and I have to start-up 360 again. Thats fine with me.. I know its Microsoft and it will freeze. But.. When it doesn't turn back on, is when I get worried. I finally got it to turn back on, but, now, it constantly freezes on the XBox 360 Splash screen, or on the 360Dashboard Menu. I am unable to play any games, and if I manage to get one to play, its only for a matter of minutes. Microsoft Support says I should be receiving a mail-to sticker to mail it to their repair center in Texas.. Average turn-around time is 2 weeks. So I will be without a 360 for the month of March.. *sighs*...

I did however decide to drop J. Morneau (Min - 1B) for T. Clark (Ari - 1B).. Clark had a better overall average, more home-runs, and more RBI's than Morneau did last year.. so it had to happen, especially since Clark was a FA in our league.

HALO 2 on X-Box Live.. :D

I watched a series of put-together screen captures of some kid that 'seemed' like he was awesome at halo.. and after watching it twice.. I just had to get back on Halo. Its been about 3 months since I last played, so I was DEFINATELY rusty (Sorry Soop!), after a couple days of playing though, I seem to be almost back to normal.. Still taking a bit to get used to it again.


As for the site.. Seems its taking up alot of bandwidth.. Not sure if its that its a growing site, or if there are too many 'active' things on all of the pages causing it to take up alot of bandwidth.. So you may see some site changes in the near future to counter-act it though.. Worked on it for a couple hours, got a pretty decent layout going.. Content and information should be going up pretty soon.

While I was up there, I was asked about doing another website for someone else.. His company idea didn't seem too solid but if he wants a website, I may as well give it to him. What he does with his company is his business, if it fails.. it fails. Can't let personal thoughts get in the way of makin the cash.

Went ahead and updated the Projects page with new information. Hopefully over the course of this year that page can be filled up with a couple web-sites that I will be working on. Hopefully!

Havn't been to the movies in awhile.. Really wanting to go sometime this weekend, but I dunno.. Not really alot of things out that I want to see.. Would definately be a good use of a free pass though. Oh well, until next time then!]]>
